The end of a fable short lived,

I lament...

Our goodbye and all the things

you will never comprehend.

The aftermath of you and I

Accepting that we've come this far,

to take the final stand.

To a story so grand.

A graceful bow,

I make my exit

and close the chapter as best fit.
